The 2018 general assembly of the World Masterships was held in Korea under the chairmanship of the esteemed governor of Cheoungju province, Governor Si Jong Lee. The Annual Aikido Seminar in Netherlands, that is conducted by female instructors, run its course full well. Women and also men gathered to practice together on tatami. The instructors that lead the course were Jeanette Tanis, Trudeke Sterringa, Satomi Ishikawa and Caroline Bied-Charreton, all four of them from Netherland, and also Laura Copello from Argentina.

The AIMS family come together in Lausanne to honour the late former President of GAISF, Patrick Baumann. Patrick died in the evening of October 13, following a heart attack while attending the Youth Olympic Games in Buenos Aires. Only 2 days before, he was at the AIMS council meeting to inspire the AIMS family. He
