Patrick Baumann, the new SportAccord President had the opportunity of meeting all the representatives of the 23 international sports federations grouped together under the IOC recognized AIMS group. Mr Baumann outlined the importance of the cooperation between all stakeholders and recognized sports regardless of their inclusion in the Olympic Programme or if they are striving for inclusion or recognition.
AIMS is one of the 5 groups in the SportAccord family and will continue the cooperation with all sports, SportAccord and the IOC for the overall development of sport and the athletes.
AIMS President, Stephan Fox stated that he is looking forward to a fruitful cooperation with the SportAccord president.
