The World Draughts Federation (FMJD) held their historical 40th General Assembly in the beautiful Château de Ladoucette in Drancy (Paris region) on May 5th 2023 in the midst of their World Amateur Championship and World Cup with 150 participants for 25 countries.
The General Assembly saw representatives from 20 countries and 4 continents and made the historical decision to move the headquarters from the Netherlands to the Olympic City of Lausanne, Switzerland, to the Maison Du Sport, home to over 50 international federations both Olympic and non Olympic.
AIMS President, Stephan Fox congratulated FMDJ and President, Mr. Jacek Pawlicki. He looks forward to a close cooperation towards highest recognition.
