The AIMS Family would very much like to thank the IOC, the LOC, Japan and Tokyo towards the Tokyo Olympics 2020.
We would like to especially give our well wishes to all our athletes. So many had to wait in uncertainty. Tonight we all share the happiness that the Olympic flame will shine around the world.
During the time of the pandemic, we all understood what is missing in our lives, when the world of sport goes to a standstill. Sport unites. The values of sport, of respect, excellence and fair play are important parts of all our lives. We are looking with pride and joy tonight at the opening ceremony; at all the finest athletes of the world. We will also see the refugee team, sending a powerful message of hope and further awareness for the over 80 million displaced people worldwide. All of them will inspire us.
