Many important meetings took place in Rio, especially with the inclusion of the 5 new sports into the Olympic programme for Tokyo 2020.
AIMS President Stephan Fox and General Secretary Gerhard Zimmermann, met with SportAccord President Patrick Baumann and ARISF President Raffaele Chiulli to discuss the continued close cooperation and other important matters.
Mr Zimmermann stated that the cooperation between all 5 groups, ARISF, ASOIF, AIOWF, AIMS and the Associate Members in SportAccord is important. Rio was an opportune time to discuss many topics and the continue cooperation benefitting all recognised sports.
