The 129th IOC Session in Rio saw a number of important decisions made in the world of sport, including the inclusion of the 5 SportAccord members to the sports programme for the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games.
Additionally, the newly appointed SportAccord Council who were in attendance at the sessions took the opportunity to not only congratulate the new sports on the successful votes, but also to get reacquainted with each other for the upcoming year in SportAccord.
