The beautiful Klong Phai Water Sport Training Center, Rayong Thailand welcomed 400 athletes from five continent for the World Dragon Boat Championships 2023
Inclusion is not just world for IDBF which they have shown many times and for the first time paradragon racing is a full medal sport at the event.
The president of the Rowing & Canoeing Association of Thailand (RCAT) Admiral Chainarong Charoenrak was there to welcome the athletes as the host. The opening ceremony was presided by Thailand’s IOC member Khunying Patama Leeswadtrakul. The event will be held over the next 6 days.
AIMS President Stephan Fox will be the keynote speaker at the congress and also part of the closing ceremony. AIMS would like to wish all the IDBF family a wonderful time in the Kingdom of Thailand and good luck to all the athletes.
