Since 1985 in London fistball is part of the World Games sports programme. The International Fistball Association was founded in 1960 and is the international sports federation responsible for fistball sport. IFA is a federation of member associations which represent fistball and their athletes in more than 56 countries with over 60.000 players from all continents showing strong representation in Europe but also including increasing numbers of membership in Africa, America and Asia. IFA sets worldwide rules and regulations for the sport of fistball and its conduct.
