International Dragon Boat Federation President, Claudio Schermi, and Honorary President, Mike Haslam, had the honor to be invited to China, the motherland of Dragon Boat, to a special TV Program “The Beauty of Shared Arts” dedicated to the sport and art of Dragon Boating which incorporates sporting competitions, cultural education and exchange, from the motherland of China to the world.
The President gave a detailed presentation on the development of Dragon Boat around the world and how, through Dragon Boating, long forgotten values are upheld and passed down from generation to generation, and how the IDBF will continue to promote dragon boat to the world.
