The AIMS family sends congratulations to His Royal Highness PrinceFeisal Al Hussein, IOC Executive Board Member and President of the Jordan Olympic Committee towards his appointment as chair of the newly formed IOC Prevention of Harassment and Abuse in Sport (PHAS) working group.
IOC President, Thomas Bach announced the formation of the working group where the IOC allocated 10 million USD to enhance sport safety. Prince Feisal was appointed to head the group. Everyone understands how passionate His Royal Highness is in the fight for safe sport. He again outlined the importance of this working group and the key role in helping to safeguard the increasing numbers of vulnerable athletes around the world. Prince Faisal stated that we all have a responsibility to ensure that everyone has access to safe, inclusive and accessible sporting environments.
United Through Sports and AIMS has been working closely with His Royal Highness Prince Feisal over the last years. He was the keynote speaker at many conferences organised by UTS and AIMS around the world. We salute His Royal Highness Prince Feisal for his passion and devotion towards safeguarding in sport.
