2016 WMF World Adventure Golf Masters in Kosovo will be played on the 25-26th of June

A record number of players and teams from the record number of countries will be lining up to compete in the 2016 WMF World Adventure Golf Masters minigolf tournament taking place in Pristina, Kosovo this weekend.

The sixth edition of the World Minigolf Sport Federation event will see 61 players and 11 teams from 14 countries play on the Kosovo Adventure Golf course in Pristina on the 25 and 26 June, with titles to be contested in individual and team categories.

Pasi Aho, WMF Sport Director said “We are glad to be here and are enjoying the hospitality and friendliness of our hosts and are looking forward to an exciting championship.”

The countries competing alongside the host nation are Albania, Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Croatia, Denmark, Germany, Great Britain, Netherlands, New Zealand, Portugal, Sweden, and United States of America. The last one will compete at the WMF international event for the first time after very long break.

Each team is represented by 4 players. The tournament formula consists of 5 (plus 1 final) rounds. Results will be available LIVE at http://www.kosovominigolf.com/sq/world-adventure/.

Main interesting detail of all official WMF official events is that they are played without money prize fund.

The weather is excellent, sunny, but hot.

The World Minigolf Sport Federation (WMF) is the umbrella organisation of Minigolf sports association’s worldwide and continental associations in Africa, America, Asia, Europe and Oceania. There are four Minigolf systems recognised by the WMF – Concrete, Miniaturegolf, Feltgolf and Minigolf Open Standard (MOS). Adventure golf is one from the MOS.
