United Through Sports 2020 World Conference
The opening ceremony of the 2020 United Through Sports World Virtual Youth Festival has been applauded by many for the innovative initiative to give opportunity for youth and to promote inclusion, equality, non-discrimination and peace promotion
While the youth already started competing in the different events under the patronage of the IOC, IPC, and SOI, the world conference was opened by the Minister of Tourism and Sport of Thailand. He thanked United Through Sports for hosting this event from Thailand to the world, he further thanked all the participating organisations and the youth.
A wide range of speakers gave their view on many important topics and importantly sent a united message to and for the youth of the world under the “One spirit one heart” slogan. Over the next days 8 different panels will be hosted discussing important topics from: Inclusivity and Non-discrimination in Sport, Sport Towards Peace Promotion, Sport as a Human Right, Millennials for The Future, Safeguarding of The Youth, Fair Play in Sport, Athletes United and Sport Leaders United.
