The Annual General Assembly of FISav was held in Podčetrtek, Slovenia on 10th October. The
turnout of national federations was excellent, with more than 90% of those eligible to vote being
present.
Members heard reports about the actions and activities of FISav and the continental federations,
as well as the reports of representatives of the athletes, the officials, and the anti-doping
commission.
Dr Julie Gabriel was re-elected as President of FISav for the mandate 2024 -2028. She assured the
members that she would continue to work for development around the world, maintaining the
values and quality of Savate, and consolidating the progress made in governance and sustainability
of the federation. The new Board of FISav is made up of representatives of 17 countries, including
members from Africa, Asia, the Americas and Europe.
The president thanked returning Board members for their commitment to Savate, and welcomed
the new members Krisztina David (Hungary), Ibrahim Konate (Mali), JoAnn Wabisca (USA), George
Tanchev (Bulgaria) and Mathieu Visenjoue (Mauritius).
