The Ju-Jitsu International Federation (JJIF) proudly announces that the 2025 Ju-Jitsu World Championships will be hosted in Bangkok, Thailand, from 1–7 November 2025, at the Indoor Stadium Huamark, one of the country’s premier sports venues.

This landmark global event will bring together the world’s top ju-jitsu athletes across multiple categories, including Fighting System, Jiu-Jitsu (Ne-Waza) Gi & No-Gi, Duo System, Show Ju-Jitsu, Para, and Masters divisions. Youth divisions (U16, U18, and U21) will follow from 7 November onward, marking a full celebration of athleticism, discipline, and international unity.

As one of Asia’s most dynamic sporting capitals, Bangkok provides the ideal stage for this prestigious event, underscoring Thailand’s longstanding commitment to martial arts, inclusivity, and global sports development.

JJIF President Panagiotis Theodoropoulos stated:

“Thailand has long been a home of martial arts excellence, and we are proud to return to Bangkok for the 2025 World Championships. This event will unite athletes from all continents in the true spirit of respect, friendship, and fair play. Beyond competition, it represents our shared values — discipline, cultural respect, and global solidarity through sport.”

The 2025 Ju-Jitsu World Championships will feature participation from over 80 nations, showcasing the sport’s global growth and its inclusive vision that welcomes para-athletes, youth, and masters competitors alike. In addition to competition, the event will include seminars, cultural exchanges, and educational activities aimed at promoting youth development, inclusion, and international friendship through ju-jitsu.

The Ju-Jitsu International Federation extends its sincere gratitude to the Sports Authority of Thailand, the Thailand Ju-Jitsu Association, and all partners for their invaluable support in making this milestone championship possible.
