AIMS President Stephan Fox was recently invited to speak at the International Kendo Federation (FIK) Board Meeting. This invitation came from FIK President Tadahiro Ajiro and Secretary General Susumu Nagao, both from Japan.
At the meeting, President Ajiro and Secretary General Nagao thanked AIMS for their support over the years. They highlighted AIMS’s recognition by the International Olympic Committee (IOC) and its support at the World Games. The FIK leaders expressed their gratitude for the partnership that has greatly benefited the Kendo community and sports worldwide.
President Fox also thanked FIK for their support as a valued member of AIMS. He praised their dedication and cooperation in building a strong sports community. President Fox expressed his excitement to continue this partnership and looked forward to meeting the FIK leaders again in October at the AIMS 2024 General Assembly in Lausanne.
Mr Nagao and the FIK Board on their turn also expressed their sincere gratitude to President Fox of AIMS for participating remotely in the recent Board of Directors meeting.
The meeting highlighted the strong relationship and shared goals between AIMS and FIK, promising continued collaboration and success in the future.
