The AIMS family come together in Lausanne to honour the late former President of GAISF, Patrick Baumann. Patrick died in the evening of October 13, following a heart attack while attending the Youth Olympic Games in Buenos Aires. Only 2 days before, he was at the AIMS council meeting to inspire the AIMS family. He was an inspirational leader whose vision, enthusiasm, personality, transformed GAISF following his election to the Presidency in 2016. His life was dedicated to sport and he was one of the leading administrators of his generation.
The AIMS family come together to mourn but also to celebrate Patrick’s life and the best way to remember him is to continue his legacy.
