Central to the deliberations was the imperative of forging closer ties with sport anti-doping bodies such as the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) and the International Testing Agency (ITA). Financial matters took center stage as AIMS Treasurer Kei Izawa (IAF) and Sabine Shanahan (WDF) presented a comprehensive financial report, spotlighting the organization’s fiscal health and transparency in financial management. The detailed disclosure underscored AIMS’ unwavering commitment to prudent fiscal stewardship.

In a forward-looking move, the council greenlit the creation of a new Commission on Membership, signaling a proactive step towards enhancing organizational efficacy and inclusivity.
