AIMS takes great pride in its cooperation with the recognised organisations in sporting world. The AIMS conference held on the 19th of April, at the Swisstech Centre in the Olympic Capital of Lausanne was a great success with major and highly respected names in the world of sport, the conference was not only informative but also left a great sense of solidarity towards a united goal – that is the betterment of the world through sport.
The conference was lead by welcome speeches from Mr Francesco Ricci Bitti, President of ASOIF and SportAccord Convention, Sir Craig Reedie IOC Vice President and President of WADA and President of ARISF Mr Raffaele Chiulli. The various speakers congratulated AIMS on it’s progress and development through the year, under the leadership of it’s president.
Following the welcome notes, were very informative presentation from other special speakers that included: IOC representatives, Sport Director Mr Kit McConnell and Head of Sport Partnerships and Coordination, Mrs Jenny Mann; Peace and Sport and World Olympians President, Mr Joël Bouzou; CEO of IWGA, Mr Joachim Gossow; WUC Director FISU, Mr Paulo Ferreira; Director ThinkSport Mrs Anna Hellman; including host city presenters, HE Mrs Kobkarn Wattanavrangkul, the Thai Minister of Tourism and Sports, CEO of Malaysia Major Events, Mr Tony Nagamiah and Consultant for Sport Event Denmark, Mr Frederic Munk.
AIMS thanks the various speakers for their valuable time and contribution towards sport, honouring each speaker with a token of appreciation.
AIMS looks forward to building its relationship and cooperation with these various stakeholders and friends in sport, continuing its strive for good governance and betterment in the world or sport and society as a whole.
