AIMS celebrates Olympic Day 2025 at the Olympic Museum

The Alliance of Independent Recognised Members of Sport (AIMS) proudly joined the global sporting community in celebrating Olympic Day 2025 under the theme “Let’s Move”, a call to action reminding the world of the joy and power of movement.

This year’s celebration was especially meaningful, as festivities unfolded at the heart of Olympic heritage: the Olympic Museum in Lausanne. Against the stunning backdrop of Lake Geneva, thousands of visitors from around the world came together to take part in a day filled with energy, inclusion, and Olympic spirit.

The museum’s grounds transformed into a festival of sport and culture. Children and families engaged in hands-on activities hosted by international federations, including AIMS members. From martial arts workshops and self-defense demos to dance, para-sport challenges, and cultural exchanges, the event showcased the universal language of sport.

Throughout the day, the air was filled with celebration, music, and purpose. Interactive exhibits inside the museum explored the Olympic values of excellence, respect, and friendship, while outdoor zones encouraged people of all ages and abilities to get active reinforcing the Olympic Day message that sport is for everyone.

Across the globe, AIMS’ international federations held their own Olympic Day events echoing the same spirit in communities from Asia to Africa, Europe to the Americas. Whether in stadiums, schools, refugee camps, or town squares, AIMS members led the way in uniting people through the joy of movement.

As Olympic Day 2025 comes to a close, AIMS renews its commitment to the Olympic Agenda and to building a more inclusive, healthy, and connected world – one step, one game, one celebration at a time.

Together, Let’s Move! Together, We are One!
