AIMS AND UTS GIVES THANKS TO THE IOC
United Through Sports (UTS) was founded in 2017 with the first event held during the annual SportAccord Convention in 2018 held in the beautiful kingdom of Thailand. The UTS initiative under the IOC recognised umbrella organisation AIMS work together to use the powerful platform of sports towards social change and positive development.
UTS and AIMS would like to pay their utmost respect and give thanks acknowledging all valuable organisations and individuals who have contributed and dedicated their support towards the UTS initiatives. As a consequence of their contribution, smiles have been brought upon the faces of countless youths from challenged backgrounds, athletes around the world and through our combined efforts we will continue to celebrate the unifying power of sports.
Today we would like to thank the International Olympic Committee which has given patronage to the last 2 festivals held in Bangkok and on the Gold Coast. The IOC President has been the keynote speaker at the last 4 consecutive conferences, from Lausanne to Denmark, Bangkok to the Gold Coast. It is with visionary, dedicated and supportive leaders that we can be inspired and continue to be united towards a brighter future.
