IFA approves Strategic Plan 2025–2029 reinforcing long-term vision and values

The International Fistball Association (IFA), a member of the AIMS family, has officially approved its Strategic Plan 2025–2029, marking the next chapter in the federation’s development and international outlook.

Endorsed by the IFA Board of Directors during its recent meeting, this is the fifth fully revised strategic roadmap since the federation adopted its first plan in 2011—a plan that helped expand IFA membership to 54 national associations.

IFA President Joern Verleger and Secretary General Chris Oberlehner expressed their appreciation to everyone involved in the process, with special thanks to President-elect and First Vice President Gastao Englert, who led the drafting of the new plan.

“This is an important milestone for the IFA,” said Verleger. “But it is not just about declaring principles. What matters is their genuine integration across all aspects of the federation—how we work, how we support one another, how we make decisions, and how we are perceived. Values are only effective when they are lived consistently and transparently.”

The Strategic Plan 2025–2029 outlines IFA’s continued commitment to growth, inclusion, and operational integrity, aiming to further strengthen the role of fistball within the global sports community.

AIMS congratulates IFA on this achievement and welcomes its continued leadership in promoting sport through long-term vision and values-driven governance.
