AIMS participated in the future of international sports governance panel in Regional Sportaccord in Fort Lauderdale 

AIMS President Stephan Fox hailed the success of the regional SportAccord Convention in Fort Lauderdale.
He states that this was an important event to provide an even stronger foundation between the region and the international sports movement especially for the non-Olympic recognised sports and the National Olympic Committees of the region.

AIMS took part in the panel with the President himself together with SportAccord and GAISF President, Raffaele Chiulli, Andrew Ryan,  Executive Director of ASOIF. The panel focused on “The Future of International Sports Governance”.
Another important panel was “The Duties and responsibilities of Sport towards Social Responsibility”. Mr Stephan Fox, AIMS President & GAUSF Vice President, stated that this Regional SportAccord was very important and maybe long overdue in this region, as the region of the Americas is rich in sporting traditions, and this has been a great opportunity to open up new frontiers to seek growth and opportunities for AIMS members.
