World Draughts Federation: Federation Mondiale Du Jeu De Dames, or in short FMJD, was founded in 1947 by 4 federations and has grown into a world recognised sport and organisation with 74 member federations. FMJD is a respectable member of Sportaccord and AIMS, both IOC recognised umbrella organisations. Former President, Harry Otten and current President, Janek Maggi have worked tirelessly to promote this ancient sport for all, into the modern times and arenas.
